PROFILE
Mª Isabel Amor Almedina, Doctor in Psychopedagogy from the University of Córdoba and Master in Clinical Psychology from UNED. She is a Contracted Professor Doctor of the Department of Didactics and School Organization at the University of Córdoba. Her lines of research focus on university orientation and teaching skills. It is important her professional career related to educational guidance and counseling for students in her personal, academic and professional itinerary.
She has been coordinator of the Bachelor's Degree in Psychopedagogy and the Degree in Early Childhood Education at the Faculty of Education Sciences of the University of Córdoba and Coordinator of the Didactics and School Organization area of the Department of Education, of this same university. She is currently the president of the Teaching and Research Staff Company Committee.
She is the author of several articles in quality scientific journals, books and book chapters in prestigious publishers and presentation of communications in national and international conferences. In her research career, the coordination and participation in various research projects on the assessment of competences, the training of university teachers and innovation and educational quality stand out.
She has been the academic director of numerous university extension courses related to the initial training of teachers in didactics and methodology and she highlights her work as a teacher in the Master's Degree in Initial Teacher Training.
She highlights her collaboration in projects with other universities and international research centers such as the University of La Plata (Argentina), the Marmara University (Istanbul) and the Faffe Institute of Higher Studies (Portugal). The University of Sofia (Bulgaria), the University of Uppsala and Gävle (Sweden) and the University of Concepción (Chile).
Currently she is the director of the scientific journal International Journal for 21st Century Education (IJ21CE). She is a promoter and secretary of the Research and Innovation Network for the Teaching Profession (RIPRO) and coordinator of the Research Processes and educational contexts line.
