I have started to work in the HE field as an English teacher at the School of International Tourism, Latvia. In 1999 it merged with Turiba University, Latvia where I have been working since that time. There I started my academic career as an English lecturer, since 2000 as the Head of Language Department and the lecturer of English, then became the assistant professor, after it the associate professor and now I have been elected as the professor for the second period. During those years I have been giving lectures in ESP, Research Methods, Pedagogy related courses.
