I completed my PhD in 2005 in Folklore (the topic Naraţiunea în contextul mediului urban / The narrative within the urban area) at the Bucharest University. Since 1997 I have been a member of the teaching staff of the Oil and Gas Technical University of Ploiesti, within the Faculty of Letters, the Philology Department. I have taught courses in Romanian culture and civilization, Modern Romanian culture and civilization, Romanian urban culture as an identity emblem, ethno-cultural models and mentalities, Research methodology in intercultural communication, The Theory of criticism and culture.
