PROFILE
She holds a bachelor degree in Modern Languages and Literature - French and English Studies and a Master’s degree in Teaching English and Spanish in Basic Education. She is currently doing a PhD in Studies in Language Sciences - Didactics of Languages at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Porto. She has also completed several short-length onsite training courses on creative and innovative methodologies for English teachers in England and Malta.
She has worked in private language schools since 2004, where she has taught French at levels A1 and A2 and English at Levels A1 to C1, preparing students for the Cambridge ESOL international exams.
Since 2016, she has been a lecturer at the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança, where she has taught English as a foreign language at levels B2-C2 to undergraduates of Languages for International Relations and Foreign Languages - English and Spanish.
Her main areas of interest include learning styles and the use of digital tools to enhance the learning of foreign languages and the development of 21st century skills.
