Description

This free resource includes 45 lessons on wide range of practical matters and topics related to economic/business literacy. It is well-organized as a series of cca. 5-minutes videos with animation, written text and an audio read by a native speaker. Each video is provided with a test. Access to resource is open, registration as guest does not seem essential, but is recommended.

Case study

Lesson 1 Needs introduces Maslow s pyramid of needs and gives basic info on the matter.
After a general presentation of the resource, lecturer plays the video.

Guidelines

1. Preliminary: give handout with basic vocabulary and reference (Maslow).
2l Lecturer askes students to take down notes.
3. Lecturer plays video/
4. Guided conversation: students discuss video.
LAST. Post: Provide handout with lapse text, to entice use of new words and check the students comprehension.
