The booklet "Jura-Deutsch" provides material primarily for French-speaking students and helps to acquire specialised knowledge and vocabulary in the field of law. Topics covered include the German state system and the course of study in order to obtain a law degree in Germany. The language training in the booklet is divided into vocabulary training, grammar exercises and advice on how to give a short presentation. Many of the technical terms used in the texts are listed separately in attached glossaries with the respective French translation. All of the text-image material (non-fiction texts, excerpts from chat forums, tables, illustrations) are completed by subsequent exercises. For many of these exercises (e.g. after writing a text), correction by a teacher is advisable, others can only be carried out in groups within the framework of a teaching unit. The available exercise material is therefore only suitable for self-study to a limited extent, but it certainly offers the possibility of expanding the vocabulary in the subject area of law in a targeted manner as supplementary reading.

The following units were tested: III. language training: vocabulary/short speech
The students were asked to participate in the testing of the teaching units. In advance, they were told which language skills they should pay attention to. Then, students were asked to evaluate the teaching unit in terms of its comprehensibility and usefulness. Students were asked to comment on whether they found the presented learning materials motivating and useful, and whether they thought they contributed to the development of their German language skills and the individual language skills.
Vocabulary part: this part focuses mainly on the lexis from the field of law studies. The lexis is embedded in the context, which can be seen as a great advantage. The students appreciated this part very positively, as the resulting exercises reflect the usual student reality, were meaningful and led to the good memorization of the lexis.
Short paper part: students were given precise instructions on how to work on a short paper. The instructions and related vocabulary mentioned in the tested part were very accurate and precisely elaborated. Students made their short papers according to these instructions and advice and then presented them. The whole part of the teaching material (short presentation) was evaluated very positively by the students and they found it interesting.
In summary, it can be stated that the presented teaching units are satisfactory, the students were able to work well with it and have evaluated it as conducive to the development of language skills. Since the students are studying in the foreign languages and intercultural communication program, this topic was very close to them. For this reason, they found the presented teaching materials interesting and solved the tasks them much easier. Finally, it should be mentioned that the tested teaching materials must be counted among the good quality teaching materials.

The published material consists of a single document in PDF format and can therefore be printed easily. Teachers of German as a Foreign Language can use individual texts and exercises either to work through them as part of a teaching unit or to assign them as homework with subsequent corrections. Numerous texts and graphics on federalism, constitutional organs, state organs and the electoral system can be used as a basis for designing material in a simplified version for learners of lower language levels. Similarly, the advice on writing and giving a short presentation is not necessarily linked to the subject area of law and can be transferred to any teaching unit to strengthen the core competence of speaking.
