Comments:
The Lääketieteen sanasto medical glossary provides medicine and healthcare students an useful tool to enrich, expand and update the fast changing medical terminology in Finnish. The dictionary is also very useful for students specializing in medical translation and mediation. The use of the glossary requires good Finnish language competence. The glossary is easily accessible and usable for students and teachers. It does not provide innovative approach in language teaching but it highly matches the students and healthcare professionals needs as an up to date medical terminology reference resource. The resource can be used also by medical interpreters and translators (or students). It suits well both for the classroom context and individual study.
