Description

The resource is a list of nearly 1000 alphabetically arranged terms pertaining to the field of natural sciences. According to the information on the webpage, the development of the dictionary was funded by the Estonian Ministry of Education and Research. The name of the resource as listed on the webpage is somewhat misleading: the page says that this is "An Estonian-English dictionary in the field of biochemistry", meanwhile from the traditional perspective, this is rather an English-Estonian glossary of biochemistry terms.

The resource is a glossary of biochemistry terms. The webpage on which the glossary is located may be set to provide 10, 30, 50, 100, 200, or 500 items per page. Each term is clickable: upon clicking, one gets the same pair of terms again (the source term in English and the target term(s) in Estonian), now in larger type, and brief information on the source of the term, viz., "Collection: Biochemistry Dictionary / Domains: Medicīnas zinātnes. Farmācija. Veterinārmedicīna, Medicine and pharmacy". On the right there is a clickable arrow; but clicking it only makes the same information appear as a separate page.
