BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ORGANISATION
The Association was founded 12 December, 2006. The Founders and members of the Association are: Kaunas Technological University, Klaipeda University, Association of the Lithuanian Language Teachers Public Service Language Centre, Vilniaus kolegija/University of Applied Sciences,Vytautas Magnus University Foreign Languages Institute, Vilnius University.
The mission of the association is to protect and promote the Lithuanian language, promote multilingualism in Lithuania, improve quality of teacher training and teacher development, unify efforts and activities of language teaching institutions and language teacher’s associations and help teachers improve professional competence and qualification.
LKPA is a founder member of REAL, the Reseau Européen des Associations de Professeurs de Langues and a member of the Fédération Internationale des Professeurs de Langues Vivantes (FIPLV).

Exchange of experience and expertise during and after the project; participation in the Dissemination of the project information; promotion of the information about the project to our network of contacts; contribution to exploitation and sustainability of the project results
