The present online source is a collection of podcasts about current issues related to education, e.g. bullying, child obesity, developmental disorders, children with Asperger’s syndrome, autistic children, teachers’ mental health, etc. There are interviews with psychologists, experts and physicians available in Slovakian. Students and teachers have the opportunity to get acquainted with the most relevant expressions and words related to certain fields of education and psychology. The podcasts are ideal for learners at B2+ level and they are appealing to those students who are interested in teacher training. This resource allows lecturers to use a motivating and authentic teaching material in the classroom.
Led-in-activity/warmer: the teacher activates the students’ background knowledge about the given topic.
Step 1: Pre-listening activity. The teacher introduces and explains the most important words in the podcast that the students may not be familiar with. Students are given worksheets containing questions, true or false statements, or fill-in-the gap exercises, etc., which need to be read carefully.
Step 2: Listening activity. Students do the given listening task. If necessary, they can listen to the podcast twice.
Step 3: Post-listening activity. The answers are discussed and explained while practicing speaking skills. If necessary, the students can listen to the relevant parts again to clarify misunderstandings.

It might be extremely challenging to apply this particular resource in different countries as all the podcasts are in Slovakian.
