This portal (https://slovake.eu/en) contains language courses at different levels (A1, A2, B1, B2) with many exercises, tests and dictionaries - everything you need familiarise yourself with Slovak grammar, learn new words, or even interact with other users of this site. In addition, learn about Slovakia - a central European country with an interesting history, stunning landscapes and numerous tourist attractions. This resource assists both the lecturer, who can use this article with students in the classroom, and students who, rather autonomously, can also explore it. These assignments are suitable for both independent and classroom use. The tasks can be downloaded free of charge. But you must register beforehand.

It is unknown to me whether this resource has already been used. The assignment sheet is free to download, but there is no feedback on this website.
This task is suitable for students at A2 language level. The target group is participants in Slovak language course. The language course is specifically for the technical language of Teacher Education. The number of participants in the group is not relevant. The tasks can be used both as partner work and group work.
The aim of the task is: the students should get to know the vocabulary of Teacher Education that can use fixed collocations.

Introductory activity / warmup: Use a picture of a school or school system to publicize the topic, with a word hedgehog on the board you can activate the previous knowledge and arouse interest in learning the topic.
Step 1: Reading comprehension:
- Before reading have a chat about the article's name and its possible content.
Step 2: First read the text in larger sections. Find the basic information in each paragraph. Answer the questions: Who? What? When? Where? How? Underline the keywords.
Step 3: Reading phase 2: read the text a second time. You can check your detailed understanding with these exercises, for example: multiple choice test, assignment exercises, sorting information in a table. Step 4: Divide the class in groups and roleplay a discussion on the most useful information shared in the text. While roleplaying this situation, students have to use vocabulary introduced and practiced during the class.
