BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ORGANISATION

The PUBLIC SERVICE LANGUAGE CENTRE (VIKC) is one of the first language teaching institutions in Lithuania, helping Lithuanian people to improve their language competences. It is a contemporary and modern institution applying innovations and interactive ICT in language teaching. VIKC philosophy is based on the aspiration of top-quality service.
VIKC services: teaching modern languages to adults and children, testing public servants and other professionals for language level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL), organizing and administrating international Goethe Institute exams, participating in educational projects of the European Commission and of other international organizations, promoting good language teaching and learning practices in Lithuania and abroad and organizing in-service teacher training for teachers of Lithuanian schools.
VIKC staff is a team of top-quality pedagogues with substantial professional experience. VIKC language teachers have University degree in Philology and constantly upgrade their professional competences at in-service national trainings and in-service trainings abroad, participate at national and international conferences and workshops on teaching languages, innovations and education management.

HOW THE ORGANISATION WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE DISSEMINATION AND EXPLOITATION OF THE PROJECT RESULTS

VIKC will invite Quill project team for various teacher training events regularly held by the Centre. It will also promote Quill information to its network of contacts and contribute to the exploitation and sustainability of the project via its staff ( language teachers) who are direct target group of the project .
