PROFILE

I hold the position of senior lecturer within Romanian Language Institute, Bucharest, under the supervision of Ministry of Education in Romania, and Department of Foreign Languages, Faculty of International Relations and Regional Studies, Baku, Azerbaijan University of Languages.
I established the Romanian language and culture undergraduate university program within Azerbaijan University of Languages in Baku, in 2017, as a result of the cultural and educational bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Romania. Since 2018, I also hold the management position within the newly established Center for Romanian Language and Culture at the same university.
The set up and the organization of cultural and scientific events in Baku, as well as the academic program, laid the foundation for a collaborative relationship between various institutions directly interested in promoting the Romanian culture and language and educational exchanges.
As the director of the Romanian Language and Cultural Center, ADU, Baku, the outcomes are the ERASMUS+ Partnerships with universities and NGO’s form Romania, Germany and Netherlands as well as interinstitutional agreements between universities, NGO’s and other institutions from Europe and Middle East to develop and implement cultural, research and educational events and projects.
As a visiting university lecturer (between 1997-2001 and since 2017), teacher in pre university education since 1999 (Romanian language and literature, world literature and English language), trainer for adult education since 2008 in many accredited or/ and EU lifelong learning programs (management, communication, hospitality, project management, human resources), holding 2 B.A.s in Philology (UBB, Cluj-Napoca, Romanian-English specialization) and European Studies (UBB, Cluj-Napoca), postgraduate certificates in cultural anthropology, multiculturalism and cultural heritage, a master degree in educational management and institutional communication (SNSPA, București), with a keen interest in cultural studies having as result a doctoral thesis about the symbolism of the summer solstice (UBB, Cluj-Napoca), the constant interest was to adjust and adapt the curricular reality to the students’ way of learning, to the generational changes, through activities able to co-interest and motivate them.
The CEO position within IdeART EDU Ltd. and the president position of on NGO, Pro Literacy Association, Romania, brought a lot of achievements in forms of pilot reading clubs, research or action-research projects, financed by national or European stakeholders, numerous extracurricular learning activities, participation in international and national conferences and symposia (America, Europe, Middle East) as speaker or key-speaker. The active involving of students in cross-curricular or interdisciplinary projects and the research activity finalized with text-books and articles that always aimed to increase and activate the educational process as a student centered approach.
The voluntary participation in reading, literacy and social awareness projects developed by ANPRO, ALSDGC, International Literacy Association, Pro Literacy Association, and International Association for Peace and Democracy Development had aims to support the growth of people interested in enhancing their personal competences in academic environment or on the labor market.
