Member of the teaching staff at the "Oil and Gas" University of Ploiesti, within the Faculty of Letters, the Philology Department. Currently Associate Professor (since 2014), I hold a PhD with the topic „Histoire et mentalités dans l’œuvre de Gustave Flaubert - Étude sur la Correspondence”, coordinator Professor Dolores Toma, PhD. I have been teaching courses in French literature (the Middle Ages, Renaissance, Classicism, 19th c-ry); teaching MA courses Concepts and strategies in intercultural communication, Mediation techniques and transfer in intercultural communication, Representation systems in current communication, Writing skills. I have been in various Erasmus exchange programs, I have been a member of various peer reviewing groups for 3 journals and I have been a member in the organizing team for a number of international conferences and symposia. I am a member of various specialised organizations and Research centeres (Heterotopos, Bucharest, Les Amis de Flaubert et de Maupassant, Rouen, France)
