Graduate in Mathematical Sciences with a specialization in Statistics and a PhD in Computer Science (Computational Statistics). He is currently a professor at the University of Cordoba and has taught on various engineering, master's degrees for 34 years. He has been the academic coordinator of the University Degree Programmes in Computer Engineering, and has participated in different processes of curriculum creation at the Polytechnic School of the University of Córdoba. He has published in journals of impact in the area of Applied Statistics and has coordinated diverse projects on educational innovation. His research focuses mainly on innovation in distance education (e-learning) and applied statistics. He is also co-IP of the research project on bilingualism 'Facing Bilinguals: Study of Bilingual Education Programmes: Results through Social Data Analysis' - EDU2017-84800-R.
