PROFILE
Etelka Tóth has more than 40 years teaching experience in higher education. In her university doctoral thesis (1984), she investigated how computers can assist language learning (CALL). She wrote her PhD dissertation (2003) on the dual forms of modern literary and colloquial language (especially the possessive paradigm). She is a co-editor of the 12th edition of the Rules of Hungarian Orthography of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (2015), and editor of the Dictionary of Hungarian Orthography (2017). She is the leader of the research group organizing the Zsigmond Simonyi digital competition of orthography and Hungarian language in the Carpathian Basin. The number of her scientific papers is nearly 200. Her current workplace is the Faculty of Pedagogy of the Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary.
