BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ORGANISATION

The Digital Language Teaching for Children Research Group, ELTE TOK was established in response to
the call of the Research Programme for Public Education Development ofthe Hungarian Academy of
Sciences. Its main aims are:
- To carry out a nationwide survey among primary language practitioners in order tosurvey their

related lockdown period.
- To examine how this affected their professional development later on.
- The survey results, complemented by a set of interviews among the participants are analysed in
order to find out whether the newly acquired digital skills and techniques of the teachers are
actively used after education moved back into the classrooms.
