The material provided in the "Forum for Business German" is primarily designed for teachers of German as a foreign language and is a service of the Institut für Internationale Kommunikation e.V. Düsseldorf. Teachers can choose from a variety of materials in PDF format on different topics. The materials on the topic of "Finance" are divided into different types of exercises: Some of the materials are designed exclusively for the development and expansion of subject-specific vocabulary, others are purely factual and informational texts (e.g. on the topic of world banks) or complete lesson plans (e.g. dealing with the German constitution).
The materials are not sorted by level of difficulty and all require solid language skills. Each PDF document on the topic of vocabulary contains 10 multiple-choice questions with a corresponding answer key. The following subsections are covered: Money, Banks, Stock Market.
On the positive side, there are additional explanations in the answer key- brief explanations let the learner understand why each of the other answer choices in a multiple-choice question must be excluded. Here is an example:
