BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ORGANISATION

The School of Management, Hospitality and Tourism of the University of Algarve (ESGHT-UAlg) is a polytechnic higher education institution, integrated in the University of Algarve. Within the scope of our activities of teaching, research and providing services to the community, we are an institution aimed at training qualified staff and specialists, whose cultural, scientific and technical skills make us able to intervene in the sustainable development of the region, the country and also internationally. The School invests in the excellence of applied teaching and also conducts research and provides services to the community, with teaching staff who belong to several research centres and study centres. The School participates in research projects in several scientific areas, with emphasis on research in the areas of tourism, management and economics and marketing. It has approximately 1,700 students, of whom about 80 are foreign students studying under various international mobility programmes. The School offers four Bachelor’s degrees: Management, Hotel Management, Tourism and Marketing, all of which include foreign languages for specific purposes.

HOW THE ORGANISATION WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE DISSEMINATION AND EXPLOITATION OF THE PROJECT RESULTS

ESGHT-UAlg will contribute to QuILL - Quality in Language Learning - the Erasmus+ Program for Strategic Partnerships for Digital Education Readiness through the review, discussion, and feedback from our language teachers on the materials, by exchange of experience and expertise during and after the project, by participating in the dissemination of the project information, and by contributing to maximizing the use and sustainability of the project results.
